My love story

It feels thoughtful, to share a love story that is oh so special to my heart. Not only because I look back at this day with the fondest of memories and a very loved heart but as you allow me into your most treasured day, I feel that it is only so special that I share my day with you.

It was on the 7th January 2017 - yes if you put those dates in numeric form it is 7.1.17. You wouldn’t believe how happy that makes my heart. This gives you just a snippet of an insight as to how those finer details will allow me to craft the most divine ceremony for you! But yes - back to my love story.

Its true when they say, as a little girl you dream of your wedding day. However in saying that, whatever I dreamt of as a little girl didn't’t truly depict my special day, except for the feelings that I felt as.I shared the promises between me and my beautiful husband Brad.

We chose to make our love official at Wallalong House in New South Wal.es. I had spent numerous weekends before walking through venues in the Hunter Valley however it wasn’t until I stepped foot into this divine property that I knew it was the one. This is how it went, I went home to my husband and told him that we had found the property for our dream day and that the deposit had already been paid so hopefully he loved it ( and thankfully he did!).

We spent the year of our engagement making ALL the decisions on ALL the details.Up until the very moment that I arrived there for our day I truly let it all go and just allowed it to happen. We had the beautiful Amy Webster Celebrant there by our sides on the day and she truly had a big impact on me choosing to become a celebrant as a career path. I will be forever grateful what she crafted for us on our day.

Now what everyone is waiting for it the details of THE DRESS. In true fashion (no pun intended) of course I bought not one by two dresses. Not intentionally but truly because the first dress I was pressured into buying and when I laid eyes on the Inca dress from Grace Loves Lace I knew it was the one and I had to have it! My sister and I had to make up some ridiculous excuse as to why we had to travel to the Gold Coast spontaneously but my husband to be was none the wiser!

As I reflect back on the day I truly understand now that it isn’t about all the smaller details that can sometimes becoming overwhelming and shadow the day but it is about the love, how you feel and the promises you share with your soon to be Husband or Wife! I could continue to go on about all of the smaller aspects but as mentioned, the most important was that since then we have celebrated 5 wedding anniversaries, grateful for 2 children and all the love that has been shared in between.

All my love,

Yours truly,

Hayley Hart x
